Day 1

Leave the US

We will arrange air fares from Denver. We will be able to accommodate people who wish to travel to other destinations (open jaw) after the tour.

Day 2

June 7, Monday

Arrive Sofia

Overnight in Sofia

We will be transferred from the airport to the Tour hotel. There will be a group dinner and orientation the first night.

Day 3

June 8, Tuesday

Some free time.

Choir rehearsal.

Concert in the “Saint Joseph” Cathedral with all male choir “Gusla”.

Overnight in Sofia.

We will have a light dinner.

Evening performance with “Gusla.”

Joint reception following the performance.

Day 4

June 9, Wednesday

Drive to Plovdiv

Overnight in Plovdiv.

Sight-see Plovdiv.

Visit Ancient Roman Theater and other “Revival” homes in “Old Town.”

Day 5

June 10, Thursday

Free time in the morning.

Choir Rehearsal

Joint concert with mixed choir “Plovdiv”

Overnight in Plovdiv

We will have a light dinner.

Performance with the “Plovdiv” choir

Joint reception following the performance.

Day 6

June 11, Friday

Drive to Kazanluk

Overnight in Kazanluk.

Visit of the Town Historical museum and two ancient Thracian tombs.

Dinner at a wonderful fresh fish restaurant on the Koprinka Reservoir.

Day 7

June 12, Saturday

Free time in the morning for explorations/shopping/sleeping.

Choir Rehearsal

Joint concert with mixed choir “Sevthopolis”.

Overnight in Kazanlak.

We will have a light dinner.

Performance with “Sevthopolis”

Joint reception following the performance.

Day 8

June 13, Tuesday

Drive to Charming old Nesebar on the Black Sea.

Overnight in Nesebar.

Explore Nesebar

Dinner on your own in Nesebar

Day 9

June 14, Monday

Free time in Nesebar. Opportunity to shop, take a boat ride, visit “Sunny Beach,” visit churches.

Lunch and Dinner on your own in Nesebar.

Day 10

June 15, Tuesday

Drive to Shumen and then to Veliko Tarnovo.

Overnight in Veliko Tarnovo.

In Shuman, visit of Tambul Mosque and the Monument commemorating 1200 years of Bulgarian History.

Dinner on your own

Day 11

June 16, Wednesday

Choir Rehearsal.

Joint concert with female choir “Kantilena.”

Overnight in the town of Veliko Tarnovo.

Visit to Tsarevets, 14^th century ruins of town, castle, and church.

We will have a light dinner.

Performance with “Kantilena”

Joint reception following the performance.

Day 12

June 17, Thursday

Return to Sofia in the afternoon

Overnight in Sofia.

Morning visit of the 40 Martyrs church in Veliko Tarnovo.

Day 13

June 18, Friday

Free day in Sofia

Overnight in Sofia.

Conducted and on-your-own sightseeing

Festive Celebration dinner

June 19, Saturday

Return to US

Transfer from hotel to airport
